  2. When did the civil war occur? • The civil war was fought from April 12 1861 • There were problem between the North and South concerning trade and tariffs which contributed to the war, but the largest and most contentious cause was slavery.

  3. Who was involved? • The Civil War involved 13 Southern states that became known as the Confederacy and had Jefferson Davis as it's President. • The eleven Southern states

  4. What alliances were formed during the civil war? • The War and Conflict • France • Great Britain • Russian

  5. Who were the leaders for both union and confederate sides? • The leader was the federal government of the untied states • It include western states of California, Oregon, and after Nevada

  6. What were the main events/battles of the civil war? • One of the events was: Lincoln in November 1860 he lacked a lot of people(1.9 million -4.7 million ) indication of the problems he would face with a divided nation.

  7. what were the main weapons and vehicles used during civil war? • They used small arms, and rifles, guns. • They used mostly railroads and steam powered boats and there were things called a clipper ship Horseback, train, carriage, boats, and best of all walking…

  8. How did the civil war affect America's future? • The Civil War affected the United Sates in a ton of ways. Right after the Civil War, during the Reconstruction era, the Civil War helped "modernize" the South. Before the Civil War, the South was mostly rural area and lacked transportation. After the Civil War, the northern Carpetbaggers came to the South to help them recover from the war, they gave the south roads, introduced factories, and education.

How does the civil war end? • The Civil war ended with the surrender of Lee to Grant, in Virginia at Appomattox court. • 1865 the end of the war. • Although the Army of Northern Virginia surrendered on April 9th, technically, there were still Confederate Forces in the field until June. Confederate General Stand Waite surrendered on June 23, 1865 when the last major fighting occurred.
