  2. Young Josef • Growing up in Bavarian, Germany

  3. Josef’s Education • Josef Mengele went to the University of Frankfurt and Munich in the 1930’s.

  4. Young Nazi • He joined the Nazi’s in 1942.

  5. Chief Doctor • He became the chief doctor at Auschwitz in 1943

  6. Evil Experiments • Dr. Mengele did many experiments and one involved lowering body temperature to extreme levels.

  7. Twins Dr. Mengele did most of his experiments on identical twins.

  8. Tens of Thousands dead • Killing the innocent.

  9. Life on the Run • Josef spent the next 30 some years on the run.

  10. Died 1979 • But wasn’t found until 1985.
