  2. Process • Determine your storyline and possible graphics / video • Powerpoint • Use slide to illustrate graphic / video concepts • Use speaker notes for script • Include in speaker notes – special instructions • File names and formats • Sound effects • Time constrains

  3. Illustrations / Concepts on slide including desired still images or video segment

  4. Script/Instructions • Speaker notes • Script • Written for ear not eye • Double space • Large font • Phonic spellings W W W dot M S U dot E D U • Instructions • Illustrations • Media (stills, video, sound bites, etc.) • Filename / sources

  5. File Types Supported • Audio files: • .aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma • Picture files: • .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .wmf • Video files: • .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv

  6. Narrate • First save Powerpoint • Suggest creating a unique folder • Slide Show Menu • Record Narration

  7. Important Notes • Click and select link option • Create individual .wav files for each slide with autoplay link in each slide • Link should be same folder as your Powerpoint file • Individual .wav file cannot be edited in Powerpoint • Use Cool Edit to correct audio (.wav) files • Change slide timings to reflect change in audio lengths (slide sorter view)

  8. Burn Storyboard to CD • Best to select whole directory • Must include all .wav files
