THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CPI • Established in 1995 by • Ministry of Education, Science and Sport • Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs • Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia • Chamber of Craft of Slovenia • VET system needed a central institution that can co-ordinate and assist all the activities within vocational education

  3. THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CPI • CPI is a public institut which performs research, developmental and advisory activities • CPI is the place where national interests and interests of social partners in VET converge, coordinate and connect

  4. PRIORITY TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES • analysing the labour market needs and developmental trends • preparing competence based occupational standards • developing modern module-based educational programmes • monitoring the implementation of educational programmmes

  5. PRIORITY TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES • developing new methodical and didactical concepts of knowledge, learning and teaching • permanent education and training of teachers, professionals and mentors in VET • coordinating development and innovative projects in vocational schools

  6. PRIORITY TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES • managing National Reference Point (NRP) • cooperating with EU organisations and standing as a reference point for VET in networks: TT net, Refer Net

OCCUPATIONAL STANDARD OCCUPATIONAL STANDARD CATALOGUE OF STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMME ACCREDITED ASSESSING AGENCIES EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION ADULTS YOUTH/ADULTS NATIONAL VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATE – EDUCATION + NVQ NVQ CETIFICATE PATHS TO THE SAME TARGET
