Background Pre-schedule Process • MIS submitted Regional Criteria request. • The Objectives: • Codify the pre-schedule process. • To the fullest extent practical, pre-scheduling should occur the day before the flow day. • Establish a pre-schedule process that aligns, as close as possible, electric and gas trading days. • Develop and document pre-schedule process definitions and descriptions. • MIC assigned to develop Regional Criteria

  2. Drafting Team Activity. Third posting - December 7th. Comment responses to 3rd posting - February 5th. 2

  3. 3rd Posting Items. Preschedule obligation, absent exception. Purpose statement “preclude language” added. Preschedule Data “forward transactions” language. WR1.1,2.1 & 3.2, exception by “agreement”. WR4.1 1500 deadline exception by agreement. Christmas Eve Day removed from holiday list. 3

  4. What changes were made to proposed criterion following 3rd posting comments? Purpose statement “preclude language” removed. GPE in Applicability eliminated. Flow day clarified. Non-substantive language clean-up. Standard format and form. 4
