  4. Average: Taking the typical route or example. Something that represents a middle point. B------------C-------------D

  5. Excellent Very good of its kind! Examples: Family Dollar or Walmart? Payless or DSW? Dial Up Connection or Fios?

  6. What does excellence require? • Excellence requires commitment. • Excellence requires consistency. • Excellence requires no compromise.

  7. Daniel was favored because of his consistency. Consistency: A harmony of conduct or practice with profession.

  8. Daniel was favored because of his commitment level. Commitment: An agreement or pledge to do something in the future.

  9. Daniel was favored because of his no compromise attitude. Compromise: A concession to something derogatory or prejudicial. To compromise one’s principles.
