  1. Archetypes Project: • Pick one or two character archetypes from a book we did this year, or a book you read from the summer reading list. • Design three slides • The first one is a title slide with your name, the name of the book, and the book’s author, plus any artwork you want to design from autoshapes. • The second describes the character in a SPECIFIC SCENE that shows how they fit the archetype you chose. • The third is an animation of that scene done ENTIRELY with autoshapes. • Be sure to include dialogue boxes to help your viewer. • You may not use any graphics from the Internet, other than as a model to help you design with autoshapes.

  3. WARRIOR AND DAMSEL IN DISTRESS Primrose, Katniss’s little sister, aged 12, is picked to enter the hunger games where she will certainly be killed. Katniss volunteers to go in her place. Because Primrose is young, vulnerable, and in serious trouble, she is a Damsel in Distress. Her distress activates the warrior in Katniss, giving her something to fight for – her sister’s safety.

  5. Warrior and Special Weapon Katniss has hunted all her life in order to help feed her family. In the preparation stage, before going to the arena, Katniss chooses a bow and shoots at the food the judges are eating. She is using her special weapon, but is not in her hero’s power yet because she can’t control her anger.
