  2. Food Giant Pandas are very good eaters. They can eat 30 to 40 pounds of bamboo a day! Giant pandas eat two kinds of bamboo that are called arrow and umbrella. They eat all parts of bamboo, the stalks, leaves, shoots and roots. The Giant Panda also eats tubers, bark, bugs, fruit, honey, fish, meat and plants.

  3. Introduction Do you know a lot about Giant Pandas? If you don’t you would want to read this report. By the time you’ve finished, you will know everything about Giant Pandas.

  4. Adaptation Did you know that Giant Pandas have a lot of adaptations to help them get away from predators and eating? Giant Pandas teeth are designed to penetrate bamboo. They hide behind rocks, bushes, trees and boulders. Giant Pandas also have a sixth thumb and finger to get a good grip on their food.

  5. Habitat Here are some habitats of the Giant Panda that you would like to learn about them. Giant Pandas live in mostly central China. They live in cool, wet, cloudy mountain forests where bamboo grows. Some Pandas even live in mountainous areas; but most pandas don’t.

  6. Classification Giant Pandas have many classifications. Here are some that I found. Giant Pandas are related to the raccoon family, the dog family, and the bear family. They are also similar to the Red Panda.
