The Tuolumne-Stanislaus Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) plan, designed in 2009 and funded by Prop. 84, aims to improve water quality, reliability, and ecosystem protection within an area of approximately 2,700 square miles. This region includes Yosemite National Park and developed projects such as wastewater treatment improvements, watershed restoration, and water conservation. With contributions from over 25 stakeholders, $3,635,000 is allocated to 29 diverse projects, fostering collaboration for sustainable water resource management.
