  1. Bonnet Ball By Heather “Abroham Lincoln” Nguyen, Sarah “The Rock” Paulson, and Prince “The Magician” Mugisha

  2. BONNET BALL EQUIPMENT • Bonnet • Bowling Ball that looks like a basketball (Bonnet ball) • Crutches • Extra Space Helmet • Pogo Stick

  3. HOW TO PLAY • On the moon, get a teammate (teams of two). • Pass the bonnetballto your teammate back and forth while running down the field on your crutches. • You can not touch the ground with your feet. • Shoot bonnetballinto the extra space helmet, but it can’t go in the way a basketball goesinto a basketball hoop on Earth. • The helmet should be either sideways or upside down, so there is no way to shoot it normally. If they make it, that is a point. • The other team then catches the bonnetballwhile on the pogo stick.

  4. HOW TO PLAY • They must then pogo to the other side without getting tackled, and if they do, this is called a Homedown. • If they get to the other side of the field on the moon without touching a crater, they get two points, but, if they drop the bonnetball into a crater, they have now turned the ball over to the other team. • They can also play three hand touch if they do not want to tackle. • Then switch directions. The first team now wants a homedown and the second wants a helmet. • The goal of the game is to get as many points as possible, and one homedown or helmet is one point. • After 15 minutes of play, the team with the most points wins.

  5. WHY CAN’T IT BE PLAYED ON EARTH? • Bonnet Ball can not be played on Earth because you can’t touch the ground without your feet and it is much easier to do on the moon. • You wouldn’t be able to do any of it even if you could run without touching the ground because you also need to pass a heavy bowling ball back and forth with crutches…because the moon has less gravity pulling on it, it is easier to play such an impossible game.

  6. WHY IS IT UNIQUE TO THE MOON? • Bonnet Ball is unique to the moon because the moon has lots of craters in it, and turnovers come from craters and it would be easier for the offensive part of Bonnet Ball if there weren’t as many craters. • Also, the moon is the easiest place to get to with the best land that isn’t Earth.
