  • The group must fabricate a can crusher for Roadrunner Trucking that will reduce the volume of each aluminum can by 70% using at least one simple machine.

  • Soda cans too large to dispose

  • Finished by May 18th, 2012

  • 100-170 lbs. of force
  • Simple machines decrease effort
  • Attach:
    • Wood glue, screws, nails, dowels
  • Crushed Can= 1.5” x 2.5”= App. 18in^3
  • Soft wood used because it’s cheaper.
