CHILDREN INC. 859 431-2075 1053 Madison Ave. Covington, KY Children Inc. provides after school day care at Crittenden-Mt Zion Elementary School, Dry Ridge Elementary School and Sherman Elementary from 3:00pm-6:00pm Monday-Friday. Staff members receive training in CPR and First Aid, as well as twelve hours training in childcare annually. All programs participate in the STARS FOR KIDS NOW initiative. Scholarships for out of county trainings are provided on a limited basis. Eligibility requirements: Services are provided to in-county childcare providers and individuals interested in becoming certified child care providers.

The purpose of 4-H is to promote the development of youth into productive, self-directing and contributing members of society. This is accomplished through informal education programs, activities and projects led by volunteers and professional educators. Youth may choose to participate in projects and activities from caring for animals, to giving speeches, going to camp, participating in crafts and much more. Clover Bud Clubs are also offered for age 8 years and younger.
