Why does this section begin with personal presentation?
Before you can learn how to communicate like a professional you need to learn how to present yourself like a professional.
Personal hygiene is of the most importance. Take a shower every morning, wash your hair every morning and use a light deodorant under the arms.
Your hair should be cut and groomed in a conservative style. Do not use bright colors. Hair should be above the collar and ears, and away from the face. If you have long hair you must tie it up for safety reasons.
If you are male your face must be clean shaven.
If you are female you should wear light makeup and only a delicate, fresh perfume; no strong fragrances.

You may not have visible tattoos.
If you have piercing in your face or tongue you must remove the studs before going to work.
Your hands must be absolutely clean.
