  2. 歐瑟亞先知 • Israel has forsaken YHWH to take up the cult of other gods. • The love of God has been betrayed.

  3. 歐瑟亞先知 • Hosea has married a woman whom he loves but who deserts him; in the same way, Israel had forsaken its true lover to give herself to the Baals

  5. 歐瑟亞先知 • His own experience of the marriage union, characterized by a tender, understanding love and an unshakeable fidelity provides the insight to understand the love of YHWH

  6. 歐瑟亞先知 • For Hosea, his own painful experience becomes a symbol and a condition for his ministry as a prophet. • He is the first to use the symbol of marriage to express YHWH-Israel relationship.
