Importance of Good Kiwanis Family Relations • Kiwanis founded and started Key Club in 1925 in Sacramento, California. • Kiwanis sponsors Key Club in providing scholarships and financial help to members or clubs they sponsor that need the help. • They are here to support Key Club and all Kiwanis family branches. • If things go wrong, a Kiwanis is there ready to pick up the dropped baton and help to get the club get back on track.

The Benefits of Good Kiwanis Family Relations Kiwanis can help your club out with service projects: help provide materials for a car wash such as hoses, sponges, towels and buckets set up a place for yard sales, bake sales and pancake breakfasts Provide transportation to events such as DCMs or Training Conferences help sponsor members of your club if in financial struggle to events such as Attend DCON, Fall Rally and ICON as chaperone

  8. Kiwanis Profile Forms • Purpose: To make information on Sponsoring Kiwanis Club members readily available to their Key Club members

Kiwanis Profile Forms • Instructions: • Have a Kiwanis member fill out these forms • -make sure he or she signs for authenticity! • Collect these profile forms and compile them into binder of information • Share the information with ALL members of your home club • Encourage members to utilize the information

Kiwanis Profile FormsWhat YOU Can Attend • Monthly sponsoring Kiwanis club meetings: • (give a report on what your club has done for the past month, update them on new business and INVITE them to events) • Kiwanis DCMs (every other month): (members can meet more Kiwanians in the area) • Kiwanis Mid-Year
