Create a survey in google docs.

Administer the survey to 20 college students.

Analyze the results.

Create charts to show trend in data.

Create powerpoint with results.

Many students either agreed or were neutral that that the amount of time students spend utilizing social networking sites as a requirement impacted their grades.

Nearly all students either agreed or strongly agreed that social media increases student engagement?

Nearly all students either agreed or strongly agreed that social media can play an important role in the classroom.

Overall Analysis

According to my research, both non-traditional and traditional students felt that social media can be used as a learning tool to increase student engagement. I also found that all students felt social media could play an important role in the classroom. However, the trend in my data proved that traditional aged college students were more likely to use social media than non-traditional college students as a learning tool to increase student engagement and academic persistence.
