Project Monitoring and Evaluation in the GMS 7-18 May 2012, Mekong Institute, Khon Kaen Project Title: The Road Improvement of 1J (97km) on Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam (CLV) Development Triangle Background: • The project is also a main and priority road which include in a programme of Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam Development Triangle, for increasing the efficiency and promoting the trade, tourism opportunity and social/economic development in this region. The region is to be designated as the Industrial Region for transportation and trade purposes and as a Eco-Tourism zone for tourism development for the North-Eastern and Eastern of Cambodia, Southern Lao PDR and Central of Vietnam. • To make a contribution to the development of Monitoring and Evaluation in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, especially in improving road in Lao PDR.
