TODAY’S OBJECTIVES 10/8/2013 • You will be able to: • Identify symbols within “S.I.”, individually • Collaborate with peers to complete your symbolism activity sheet successfully • Homework: Determine what it means when a symbol is conventional or archetypal. Complete question number 2. Part of your answer should include the definition of these.

Skip #2. • You should not be speaking to anyone, but you may listen to music • I will come around and check your annotations. • Depending on your progress, you might gather with group members during the period or we will do this tomorrow. • Questions?

Consider this: What does the narrator realize later in the story about his feelings? We will share our answers tomorrow on the board. I recommend writing it down!!!
