  4. THE FOOD GUIDE PYRAMIDTODAY and YESTERDAY The new symbol has been designed to be simple, to remind consumers to make healthy food choices and to be active everyday. MyPyramid is meant to symbolize Activity; Moderation; Personalization; Proportionality ; Variety ; Gradual Improvement
