PFPWG – Prepared Foodstuff Product Working Group Scope of Activities: • Exchange of information on standards, regulations, procedures and mandatory requirements in Member Countries related to prepared foodstuff; • Review and analyze the comparative study of regulatory regimes among Member Countries; • Identify areas for possible harmonization and MRAs; • Develop, implement and monitor the sectoral MRAs; and • Identify the technical infrastructure needs and build-up mutual confidence in testing and conformity assessment

Specified Area for MRA of PreparedFoodstuff Identified (Based on Export-Import Requirements) • Food Safety Aspects (Food Safety Standards, Conformity Assessment, Pre-shipment Inspection, Export Certificate from Exporting Country, GMP Certificate, HACCP Certificate) • Labeling Aspects (Statements on Food Label, Health and Nutrition Claims, Language in Food Labeling, Type of Character/Label Sticker) • C. Registration Aspects (Food Product Registration, Registration of Food Establishment) • D. Halal Aspects (Halal Certificate) • E. Specific Requirements (Specific Mandatory Requirements such as: GMO, Irradiated Food, Fortified Food, and Organic Food, Quarantine, Inspection on-site Requirement, Traceability)
