FACTS ABOUT AVIATION VALLEY The Aviation Valley Association was started on April 11, 2003, as a non-profit organization, as a mean of furthering the rapid development and growth of the aerospace industry in south-eastern Poland. This historic decision was conceived by a group of leading aeronautic producers, suppliers and businessmen. 11 April 2003 – Setting up Meeting with 18 participants representing industry and other organisations. 11 June 2003 – Registration in court of Aviation Valley Association 24 September 2003 – First General Meeting of Members www.aviationvalley.pl

AVIATION VALLEY BOARD The Aviation Valley Association Board was chosen on 24th September 2003 during the General Meeting and is represented by a President and 2 Vice-Presidents: President: Marek Darecki (WSK Rzeszów - UTC) Vice-President: Ryszard Łęgiewicz (SNECMA POLSKA Ltd.) MEMBERS OF AVIATION VALLEY ASSOCIATION The Aviation Valley Association currently represents 30 companies and institutions within the region, with several others in the process of applying for membership.
