Delbin: What I like about the Dominican Republic is the camaraderie between the people in the country. It's almost as if everyone is part of a family with a strong sense of togetherness. Kim :What do you think about the president of the Dominican Republic? Delbin:I think that President Leonel Fernandez should incorporate a variety of social and economic programs to help restructure the country.  Kim :Describe The Dominican Republic with 1 Word. Delbin: Platano Person: Ana Cristina Urena (Mother) Kim :Whats The Difference from here and the Dominican Republic? Ana: The difference between here and the Dominican Republic is that over there its a great place to relax and get away from your problems. Over here life is not easy... you have to work for what you want. Kim : What made you leave?' Ana:What made me leave is that me and my husband wanted to start a family in America.

Mom: It didn't have so much burglars, everything was more affordable, and the streets were different. Me: What's the difference of the US and in R.D? Mom: There's more opportunity in jobs and your future ,like better colleges and can get more money. Jose Fernandez (Father) Me: How was Dominican Republic when you lived there? Dad:It was good there was not a lot problem, and it didn't have a lot of offenders. Me:Why you came to America? Dad:I came here looking for a better opportunity and a better life to live because there is more things here then in my country.

  15. PLANTAINS CASSAVA Cassava is a Vegetable that we eat with most of are food but we mostly eat it in the morning. TROPICAL We are known for eating plantains a lot, Specially in the morning. Dominican Republic is a tropical place. It has many beautiful Beaches and its a great place to relax. Environment

The Dominican Republic has environmental problems in the area of deforestation, water supply,and soil erosion. Dominican Republic is the World's 10 worst pollution spot. Merengue is  a famous genre as well as bachata.

Baseball was introduced in the Dominican Republic 1866 by Cuban dockworkers whom had learned the game from American sailors. FEB 27 is the independence of the Dominican Republic we celebrate it with 27 Festivals,mask, and many more . its really important for us because it was wen our country was born. CHURCH The Nights of Prayer is celebrated the night before Altagracia day.Dominican Republic is very Catholic we mostly believe in the Virgin Mary we always pray for her to cure us,help us in our problems,and also give her thanks for everything .
