DAQ changes • IP mode (live IQ rotation) overhauled • Newly implemented for board #1 • .ipx output file for LabVIEWruns • Contains quad current / quad mover settings, IPBPM mover settings and IPBPM attenuation • LabVIEW library of EPICS variables getting unwieldy • existing library replaced by several small ones • SIS3316 monitor and save logic created FONT Meeting 23 June 2014

Summary of final week: 17 June • Beam put on waist • Thyratron and extraction kicker timing scans performed in single bunch mode • Switched to two bunch mode (98 spacing), extraction kicker timing tweaked to try and maximize bunch to bunch correlation • No significant correlation observed; switched to non-standard bunch spacing • Beam lost and returned in poor condition FONT Meeting 23 June 2014

  4. Summary of final week: 19 June • Beam put on waist • Switched to two bunch mode (98 spacing); spacing was gradually reduced while tweaking extraction kicker timing to see lowest spacing that could be achieved (88) • ~60 nm jitter observed but no correlation • Altered QD0FF current to move off-waist; corrected jitter = 90 nm FONT Meeting 23 June 2014
