  2. Anne’s Family Anne and her family were Jewish. The Frank family lived in the Netherlands, witch is also known as Holland. Otto Frank was Anne’s dad. They lived in Amsterdam. Anne had an older sister named Margot. Anne’s mom was Edith Frank. Anne was born in Frankfurt, Germany on June 12, 1929. Anne’s language was Dutch. Anne Frank Died early March 1945 (age 15). Anne died of typhus in the Bergen-Belson concentration camp. Her mom and her sister Margot died. Her dad was the only one who survived. Frank House Bergen-Belson consentration camp

  3. Anne’s Diary Anne got her diary on June 12, 1942. That was her 13th Birthday. She called her diary kitty. She wrote about her life and about her family and friends. People who helped the the Frank family in their hiding were called “soup eaters” because they would usually stay for a cup of soup. The secret hiding place was called “the secret annex”. After the holocaust Otto Frank saved Anne’s diary. Miep Gies (one of the soup eaters)

  4. Anne’s Hiding Otto Frank had been preparing a hiding place for many months. Otto had gathered a great deal of food, supplies, and furniture in the hiding place. The hiding place turned out to be some hidden rooms in the up stairs of the building Otto’s spice business was located. The secret annex was hidden behind a book shelf. Bookcase to the secret annex

  5. Anne’s Danger The Holocaust A.K.A the shoah (to Jews) was Anne’s Danger. In May 1940, the Netherlands was invaded by the Nazi army. Adolph Hitler was the leader of the Holocaust. The Nazis killed over six million Jews. The Nazis had death camps where if a Jew didn’t work hard enough they would be killed in gas chambers. Before they get in a camp Jews had to be stripped and tattooed. Six Million paper clips (representing killed Jews)Adolph Hitler
