Portal Growth What did we do Well Portal ranking Competition and External factors • Increased Mobile Portal & SMS Alerts by approx. 5 times (achieved +15 M Vs 4 M in 2010) • Political Issues & Imbalances • Introduced Video & Audio rentals in addition to the Micro / Nano Charging • Utilizing Global deals in acquiring the best W@P portal technologies • Acquired all Music Content available in the Market • Increased no. of SMS alerts customer base & services. • Competition started to target new devices and platforms in addition to launch of Engezly & 3alsaree3 • Let 3rd parties do the Communication for SMS services. Portal visits for 2011 vs 2010 till 17th Dec What did we do wrong How to improve • Ignored Communication • Focus on new Mobile devices as Tablets • Defocus on Mobile Applications • Work on Smartphones applications on BB & IPhone in addition to the traditional phones • Not targeting new platforms and devices as Tablets • Enhance the Portal & SMS Alert platform
