  14. Management of Waste 院方懲處處理原則： (一) 針頭或化學藥品等物，若錯置於非感染性廢棄物袋內，第一次被檢查發現並經確認無誤，該所（處）次年非人事預算總額予以扣減 0.5%。 (二) 第二次被檢查發現並經確認無誤，該所（處）次年非人事預算總額予以扣減 1% 至 1.5%，並請副院長與所長溝通檢討。

Management of Waste • 行政區及休息區的生活垃圾由清潔人員處理；實驗室區的生活垃圾及實驗廢棄物一律由實驗室人員分類、包裝、貼標籤後，由清潔人員集中至垃圾暫存室。實驗室區每天上下午各一次收集廢棄物，時間約為上午 10:00、及下午 3:00。 • 固態廢棄物：生活垃圾以黃色塑膠袋包裝、貼一般性廢棄物標籤 (如圖一)；非感染性實驗廢棄物以藍色塑膠袋包裝、貼一般性廢棄物標籤；感染性實驗廢棄物以紅色塑膠袋包裝、貼「感染性廢棄物」標籤 (如圖二) 及滅菌指示膠帶，上午 10:00 前送 4 樓滅菌斧由專人滅菌後處理。感染性廢棄物需放置於有蓋垃圾桶內，桶外需貼有感染性廢棄物標示，並於 24 小時內清除。

Management of Waste 3. 液態廢棄物：一般無毒性之酸鹼溶液請以大量水稀釋後，由水槽排出；其它廢液分為 4 類 ──含鹵素有機廢液、無鹵素有機廢液、廢幫浦油、及重金屬廢液，請確實分類，並在容器外明顯處貼上標籤，並註明主要成分。如實驗室會產生大量其他廢液，請洽龔政哲 (分機 203) 或程郁郁 (分機 328)。 4. 含 Ethidium Bromide (EtBr) 之廢棄物：含 EtBr 之廢液需以 Green bag 吸收 EtBr 後，才能由水槽排出；Agarose gel、Green bag、及手套等以「非感染性實驗廢棄物」處理。 5. 廢棄針頭：請至庫房領取「針頭收集罐」，集滿後以「感染性實驗廢棄物」處理。 6. 尖銳物品：破玻璃等尖銳物品或金屬請自行取適當大小之瓦楞紙箱分別妥善包裝後，在箱外明顯處註明「尖銳物品」或「金屬」及實驗室編號。。

Management of Waste • 7. 放射性廢棄物：中心目前尚無此類廢棄物，將來進行放射性實驗時再另行通知處理方式。 • 8. 各式廢棄物標籤及廢液空桶可洽羅新忠 (分機 208) 索取。 • 9. 嚴禁將實驗廢棄物攜至行政區或休息區丟棄！ • 10. 為了清潔人員安全起見，感染性、毒性廢棄物，及針頭、破玻璃等尖銳物品請務必妥善包裝及標示！ • 11. 空藥瓶 (塑膠、玻璃或金屬) 以洽請原購買公司回收為原則。 • 手套：在後續作業屬感染性實驗廢棄物，處理費用極高。如實驗室中無感染性廢棄物，則請設置手套專用垃圾桶，標示可比照非感染性實驗廢棄物，不須滅菌。 • 定期廢棄物清運：非感染性及感染性廢棄物：每天。液態廢棄物：每月第 1、3 週週三。
