Sedalia District #200 Policy Cont’d • Internet Usage Agreement • All students must sign upon enrollment • Violations result in severe consequences • Consequences Include: • Permanent loss of Internet use • Referral to law enforcement officials • ISS • OSS • Expulsion • ***Consequences are relative to the severity of the violation – see handout

What you can do at home… • Contact your ISP about filters • Add passwords to your computer • Create a family contract (policies/rules/consequences) • Remain public in chat rooms • Keep home computer in central location of the home • Communicate often about online activities with your kids • Never give out private information • Never agree to meet someone you don’t know without telling your parents
