  3. WEIGHT TRAINING • OFF SEASON • PRE SEASON • IN SEASON • Importance of overall body strength

  4. FIELDHOUSE • Meeting place every day before AND after practice • Locker room will be utilized

  5. UNIFORMS/WARM UPS • New warm ups • Blue/gold/white • New Gold uniforms • Blue shorts/socks

  6. COMMITMENT/RESPECT • We can do BIG things- but only if YOU are willing to make a commitment to yourself, your teammates, and this program • All soccer players will be respectful to each other, their teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, teachers, peers. • NO disrespect will be tolerated

  7. CAMP • When: August 9-13 • Where: Our fields • Cost: $150 • Time: TBA • Either 9-12 or 5-8 • UK Elite • ALL are expected to attend • Coached by professional coaches from Europe • Work on individual skills as well as team play

  8. BIG SISTER/LITTLE SISTER • Involvement with rec./travel program • They come to our practices/game- we go to theirs • Travel team= ball girls

  9. ONE PROGRAM • Varsity players will attend JV home games when it fits their schedule and run their balls, do the book, cheer, learn from watching, etc. • JV players will attend all varsity home games when it fits their schedule and cheer on their teammates and learn from watching

  10. PRIDE PAWS/BEAR PLEDGE • Modeling and rewarding positive behavior • Earn pride paws for reaching goals or displaying positive behavior • Together as a team we will write a pledge to commit to as a team and sign it during pre-season • It will hang in the locker room all season long

  11. LABOR DAY BBQ/WELCOME LUNCH • Have fun celebrating your hard work during preseason with a team BBQ at my house • Seniors will host a welcome lunch for all freshmen or new players

  12. GAME TAPE • Watch games and analyze positive and negative plays • Know what we do well and what we need to work on • Use film to scout other teams and prepare for games

  13. MASCOT • Wood carved Bear Paw Print • Painted blue and gold • Bring to games

  14. DIMITT, MVT/THANK YOU LETTERS • End of the year rewards • Determination • Teammate • Seniors write letters to parents to share at the end of the year soccer dinner

  15. MEETING • JUNE 3RD, 2010 3:15 ROOM 110 • ALL MUST ATTEND- UNIFORM SIZES, WARM UP SIZES (NAMES) • FUNDRAISERS • TEACHER OLYMPICS, CLOTHES, CARWASH, SCRATCH OFF, FACULTY GAME • PRACTICE BEGINS JUNE 7TH 3:15 (MON-THURS) • OFF JULY • AUGUST 3,4,5 BEFORE CAMP • 7V7 GAMES?
