Understanding the Tees Drainage Basin: Map Skills and River Features

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to identify key features of a drainage basin using sketch maps and images. They will learn to locate features of the Tees drainage basin on Ordnance Survey maps, recognize the three main parts of a river's long profile, and find important characteristics within a section of the drainage basin. Additionally, students will describe how land use in a drainage basin transitions from source to sea, using map evidence to support their observations.
