How to be successful in math • Always have your • Note book ( A4) size • Pencils • Erasers • Homework • Ipad • Great Attitude.
Math Expectations • Be polite and let others learn
Class expectations • Follow the instructions of teachers promptly;
Class expectations • Treat others as you would wish to be treated yourself;

Class routine • You will have your big book ready for class daily . • . A4 size book with squares.
Class routine( step 1) • Every day you will have a class starter with at least 3 questions to answer in your book . You will complete those questions immediately . These questions will be a review of work previously done
Class routine ( step 2) • After completing the class starter you will have your homework available . We will grade the homework in class. You will exchange books. Do not rip your homework out of your big book.
Class routine( Step 3) • Presentation of new lesson for the day or review of previous lesson. • You will take notes, ask and answer questions and complete the required exercises for the lesson.
Class routine ( step 4) • In your groups continue to work on the required exercises, ask questions and start your home work assignments. You should make sure that you understand what was taught that day.
Quizzes • You will have on line quizzes to complete . • The quizzes could be weekly or any time • The quizzes will help you to know what you need to study or get help with. • You will have a big SWQ in the middle of the term for all your classes. • It is important that you study for your quizzes.
Tests • You will have a test at the end of 4 sections. The questions will be from the required exercises. • The goal of the test is to get you ready for your SWQ and EOT .
