The innovative project at Rowland Adult & Community Education (RACE) empowers teachers to create Facebook pages for enhanced communication with students and the community. Celebrating 40 years of excellence, RACE serves 3,000 students annually with programs including ESL, Citizenship, and more. This initiative aims to improve technology use in classrooms, increase student enrollment, and adapt to community needs. Following successful mentorship, several teachers have launched Facebook pages, fostering better engagement and sharing resources. Future plans include creating a RACE Facebook Committee for ongoing support.
