What is “Making Proud Choices?” • We will talk about HIV-the virus that causes AIDS, other STDs, and teen pregnancy. • More youth today are getting infected with HIV and other STDs than ever before and more teenagers are doing things that place them at risk for HIV infections, other STDs, and teen pregnancy. • We will focus on knowledge, attitudes, and prevention skills related to HIV, other STDs, and pregnancy. Along with relationship issues, sexual behavior, decision-making, and negotiating in difficult situations.
