  1. Silent Do Now Before you begin: Take out your homework and put it on the right hand corner of your desk! • The school that Lisa goes to is selling tickets to the annual talent show. On the first day of ticket sales the school sold 10 senior citizen tickets and 20 student tickets for a total of $205. The school took in $10 on the second day by selling one senior citizen tickets and one student ticket. Write an equation for the price of each ticket. • Kaya sold 5 more than 2 times more candy bars than Chris. Chris sold 15 candy bars. Write an equation to figure out how many candy bars Kaya sold. • Solve for x: 3x – 2x + 4(x+2) = 8
