  1. Identify elements, compounds and mixtures 10/22/12 S: Sketch and identify 1 element, 1 compound, 1 mixture from the following.

  2. P: Write a paragraph describing why each of your sketches represents element, compound and mixture.

  3. A: Create your own element. Draw its symbol and draw a model as an element and as part of a compound.

  4. C: Describe the physical characteristic of your element. E: Describe how your element and compound could be used…be creative!

  6. P: Use your composition pie graphs to list the top three elements found in the atmosphere, solid earth, human body and earth’s oceans
