  1. Participation Points • 5 points possible for each week= 1 point per day • If you do not fill out your agenda you will lose your point for that day. • Points can be taken away for any disruptive behavior and no warnings will be given. • Points can be taken away for not being prepared for class. For example not having your agenda, journal, homework, pencil or paper. • These points are significant because each week they are the equivalent of 1 homework assignment. The total Participation Points for the quarter will be equal to a test or project grade. Losing these points can really affect your overall grade. • Students who lose 3 or more points in a week will have their parents notified.

  2. Bell Work #2 • What is your favorite meal at a fast food restaurant? Make sure to include what you order to drink. • What is your favorite dessert at a fast food restaurant or placessuch as Dairy Queen and Cold Stone Creamery? • How do you feel right after eating these foods? • How do you feel 1 to 2 hours later?

  3. Food Journal Instructions • Write down EVERYTHING you eat and drink for 5 full days. (you do not have to include water) • Entries begin on Monday and end at the end of the day Friday. • Due date is Monday April 7th which gives you 7 days to have 5 entries. We will also discuss the second part of the assignment at this time. • Must include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for each day. If you do not eat a meal write down none. • This assignment will not be shared with the class so be honest with yourself about what you are eating when writing in your food journal to benefit from this activity.
