Announcements • Graduate School Fair • Thursday, October 7th • 11AM – 3PM • Texas Union Ballroom • Undergraduate Research Information Sessions • Learn how to get involved in research, how to contact faculty members, the qualities and skills faculty members are looking for in undergraduate researchers and learn about course credit for undergraduate research. • Time: 2-3 p.m. • Location:Flawn Academic Center (FAC) 1 or FAC 4 • Website:http://www.utexas.edu/ugs/ugr

  7. Tie Dye Social • Today! • Right after the meeting • You must provide your own shirt • Chances to win team points while we wait for the dye to set!

  8. Toy Story Movie Social • Toy Story 3 – October 14th @ 9 pm • Movies are FREE at the Union • Get there early since this will probably be a really popular movie • There is another movie social coming this month as well! • Inception: Oct 28th (More on that later!)

  9. Social Credit • Although it does count as a fundraiser for WIM, the Juicy Tart Yogurt will not count as a social credit UNLESS you set something up for several members of WIM to attend! • Contact me if you’re interested in doing so (time and date), and I’ll set up a spreadsheet for you!

  10. Pledges: $45/year or $30/semester • Actives: $35/year or $25/semester Membership Dues DUE BY 3RD MEETING! Free t-shirt is included with dues
