  1. Do NOW: Turn to page B10 in your science book. Use the paragraph at the top of the page to find the definitions for organ and system. Open to the vocabulary section of your science journal. Add organ and system to your vocabulary bank and write the definition. Now use the definition to write either an example or a drawing for both of these words.

August 27& 28 Outcome: Develop scientific explanations and interpret models about the functions and interactions of the human body. Questions: How does each body system contribute to supporting the life of the organism? How do organs and body systems interact to perform specific functions?
