Understanding Conflicts in Literature: Analysis and Artistic Expression

In this assignment, students are tasked with obtaining a white sheet from the substitute teacher, due Tuesday. They must use the specified page numbers to create a drawing that reflects the content accurately; artistic ability is not a concern. Additionally, they will explore Chapter 7, focusing on external and internal conflicts presented in the narrative. Students must analyze these conflicts, providing insights on their implications and outcomes in their Tri. 2 Google Doc, dated Fri, 1/10. This encourages critical thinking and creativity.

  1. Chapter 6 • Get a copy of the white sheet from the substitute teacher. • This will be due TUESDAY!!! Use the page numbers to help you. • What you draw should be consistent with what is on the pages that are listed. • It is okay if you are not a good artist.

  2. Chapter 7 questions Read: • We know that conflicts are problems. Conflicts can be external, which means that they are between people and/or a person versus people. External conflicts also exist between characters and their environments. • Conflicts can also be internal, meaning that they are on the inside and only the person who is having the conflict can solve it (usually). Answer: • What conflicts (internal and external) are hinted at in this chapter? What do you think will happen with these conflicts? This should be added to your Tri 2 Google Doc with today’s date, Fri, 1/10.
