  3. Another name for Kush • Nubia is another name for Kush. • Nubia comes from an Ancient Egyptian word called Nub, that means gold. • Nubia means land of gold. • Kush was called Nubia, because it had a lot of jewelry and gold.

  4. When Kush ended and started ? Kush excited from 2,000 B.C to 350 A.D. In 1,500 B.C Egypt conquered Kush. The Kushites occupied Egypt in 750 B.C. The Axums conquered Kush in 350 A.D.

  5. Archersof Kush • Nubia(Kush) was also named The Land Of Bow, because their archers were expert and fierce.

  6. Capital of Kush • Napata was the capital of Kush , was destroyed by Egyptians. • Then Kush decided that Merowe is the capital of Kush.

  7. Merowe, Kush • Merowe has 3 times more pyramids than Egypt. • But all of Merowe’s pyramids were destroyed by hubbub, a sand storm in Sudan.
