  2. Moment = Force x distance M [newton metres] = F [newtons] x d [metres] d F Here the turning moment is anti-clockwise so the beam turns anti-clockwise

  3. For an object to be in equilibrium: Anti-Clockwise Moments = Clockwise Moments Or Anti-Clockwise Moments - Clockwise Moments = 0 F 2F
