  1. DOWNLOADING FILES FROM THE OERB Teacher Version

  2. Step 1log onto: elearningontario.ca Click on the elearning logo to enter the website

  3. Step 2: Enter Userid and Password Student code Userid: kpdsbstudent Password: oerbs

  4. Now you are in the OERB Now to search click on the search icon

  5. You can perform two types of search: 1)Basic In a basic search you enter in the a topic you are looking for and hit search.

  6. Pick a topic and double click on the title to display the resource.

  7. From here you can you can preview/print/use the resource To save the resource you must go back to the original listing click on the green buton

  8. Click on Retrieve Object button to save file

  9. Double click to start download of zip file

  10. Click here to continue download.

  11. Click on the save button

  12. Direct where you like the zip file saved to. I suggest using a folder Change the file name to something you will remember

  13. Now open the file you saved the zip file into and click on extract all files

  14. In the unzipped file you will find a Read me File. Read it. It will tell you what file to open to make the resource work.

  15. In order to run this resource you must first open the file named subtracting integers Open this file to run the resource.

  16. Second Method of Searching is done using Grades/Strands/Expecations. Click on Browse by expectations Select Language of choice

  17. Select a specific grade

  18. Select a subject

  19. Pick a strand and then an expectation if necessary Clicking on the magnifying glass here will give you all strands below

  20. SAVING FILES USING THIS SEARCH METHOD IS DONE IN THE EXACT SAME MANNER AS IT WAS FOR THE BASIC SEARCH HAPPY HUNTING
