  4. Symptoms Bulging eyes, bloated abdomen, inactive or overactive behavior, and hemorrhaging in the eyes, skin, gills, and at the base of the fins

  5. Vectors Fish Water

  6. Transmission • Direct contact of carriers and contaminated water or feed • Vertical transmission • Blood sucking parasites

  7. Species There are 45 known susceptible species. Among them are… Black crappie, Freshwater drum, Rainbow trout, Bluegill, Gizzard shad, Redhorse sucker, Bluntnose minnow, Grayling, Rock bass, Brown bullhead, Brown trout, Herring, Smallmouth bass, Burbot, Japanese flounder, Turbot, Channel catfish, Largemouth bass, Walleye, Chinook salmon, Muskellunge, Haddock, Coho salmon, Pike, White perch, Chum salmon, Pink salmon, Yellow perch, Emerald shiner, Pumpkinseed, Rainbow trout, Round goby, White bass
