  1. Key Elements of the Vision: • The creation of 17 units of supported accommodation for young people aged 16 to 25 years • The provision of a young people’s centre where both residents and non-residents can benefit from integrated working with a range of other agencies delivering key services to young people • The development of a youth café and media space to create a relaxed social area where young people can meet and also be involved in its management and running

  2. Key Elements of the Vision: • The expansion of youth work to exploit the location of the building (served by good public transport links) and the facilities on offer, and to reach larger numbers of young people living within the City Centre wards • To concentrate provision of youth homelessness work – advice and guidance, assessments, preventative work, and provision of emergency accommodation – in one location combining the efforts of all agencies involved – both statutory and non-statutory work • The development of pathways for young people to move on into more permanent accommodation once they have acquired the skills to live independently (or to return to their families)

  3. Key Elements of the Vision: • The provision of space which can be rented out as a retail unit or to accommodate other agencies working with young people • The development of training facilities / meeting rooms which can also be used to generate income when not in use by the young people • The retention of part of the existing sports hall as a multi-purpose space for health and fitness related activities (again with some potential for income generation)
