  1. Fourth Nine Weeks Project Mrs. Cannon’s Eighth Grade Reading

  2. Select a Book that you have read this year • It can be any fiction book that you have passed the AR Quiz. The book selection must be approved by me!

  3. Your Task • You will create a multimedia presentation about your book. • This can include a Power Point Presentation, a Prezi, Glogster, VoiceThread, a website (see final page in this presentation for a list of free web hosts), a video (book trailer), a wiki, a Google Docs presentation… • We will be in the computer lab at least once a week, but you can work on your project at home. • This is an on-your-own project (so to answer your question, no you can’t work together!)

  4. Project to include • Detailed plot summary • Author Biography • Descriptions of all major characters • List of all minor characters • List/Description of Settings • Citations page of any additional sources (MLA Style)

  5. Project Time Line • Book Selection Friday, March 30 • Conference &April 9 - 12 • Project Outline & Friday, April 13 • Project Update Friday, April 27 • Presentations & May 21 -25 • All Projects should be completed before May 21. You will have a place to post your project on my website. All items marked with a & will be a grade.
