Inventor's Challenge: Build a Complex Machine Project

Students will choose to construct a windmill, bridge, or other complex machine (combination of simple machines) within a square box. They can form groups of up to three people and must submit their project by October 18. The project will be graded based on effort and functionality. Get creative and show off your engineering skills!

  1. 1st Nine Weeks Project -Choose to build a windmill, bridge, or other complex machine ( two or more simple machines combined is a complex machine ) -Choose your own group -No more than 3 people per group -Should fit in a square box 1 m each side -Due Oct 18 ( whenever the even day is ) -Will be graded on effort AND how well your project works

  2. Grading Rubric • 50 points for showing up with anything that resembles a windmill, bridge, or other complex machine (consists of two or more simple machines)
