  5. IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE INFORMATION FOR PARENTS There is a new and easier way for you to let us know that your child is absent. Visit the Morton Ranch Jr. High website and click on the link at the top that says “Report An Absence”. Follow the very simple instructions to let us know if your child is absent. Please remember the importance of letting us know if your child is absent. When you report your child’s absence, it still must follow the guidelines of the Katy ISD policy and is stated in the District Code of Conduct. If your child has a doctor appointment or will be out a partial day, a note from the doctor’s office is still required upon the child’s return to school.
