  3. Filtration of wastes • There are kidneys which are champion filter. • There are 2 kidneys in each body. • There are about a million of nephrons in ea-ch kidney which filters wastes from blood and produce urine.

  4. Excretion and Homeostasis • Eliminating wastes such as urea, excess water, and carbon dioxide is important for maintaining homeostasis. • Excretion maintains homeostasis by keeping the body’s internal environment stable and free of harmful levels of chemicals

  5. Hormones and the endocrine system • The endocrine system produces chemicals that control many of the body’s daily activities. • Regulates long term changes such as growth and development.
