  5. Diseases and How to Prevent Them • Some diseases of the Excretory and their treatments are: • Kidney Stones- No ‘real’ treatment…Let it pass! If it worsens you might need surgery. • Urethritis- Anti-viral/ pain medication

What the Excretory Works With • The Excretory works with other systems such as: • Skeletal- The excretory cleans the blood of waste products produced by the skeletal. • Circulatory- The circulatory moves the blood through the body and some of the blood goes through this system. • Nervous- The brain controls urination

  7. 4 Interesting Facts • The average person urinates about 3000 times a year. • Kidney Stones can be the size of a golf ball. • Water forms 95% of the urine. • The liver feels rubbery to touch.
