  2. About the Pan American Health and Education Foundation (PAHEF) • Improving health in the Americas through health promotion, education, and training

  3. Mission Work with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and other strategic partners in the Americas to mobilize resources and jointly address key health, education, and training priorities.

  4. Current focus • Deep health expertise to create and implement health projects and develop partnerships • Evolved focus to meet the most challenging health issues • Public and private sector collaboration (e.g., governments, nongovernmental organizations, private corporations, etc.)

  5. Four priority areas • Chronic disease prevention and healthy aging; • Immunizations; • Neglected tropical diseases; and, • Health education.
