Current Projects/Recommendations • Currently being discussed: • Create a “GJXDM to NIEM Transition Strategy” white paper • Create a “NIEM Adoption Business Case” white paper • Create a high level NIEM Adoption and Migration Benefits Guide • Create an Overview of Information Sharing for Non-Technical End Users to include showcasing customer success stories of using NEIM/GJXDM for information sharing • Next Steps: • Determine Priorities/Stack Ranking • Determine Requirements – Funds, Personnel, Output • Present Recommendations

Fusion Center Architecture Working Group • Purpose: The Business and Technical Model Architectures are intended to act as guidelines for implementation in order to enable information sharing between and with Fusion Centers (to include data sharing from law enforcement and justice systems to Fusion Centers, between Fusion Centers, and with Intelligence and Homeland Security Agencies). • Approx 20 members • Gerry Wethington, Chairman • Industry and Practitioners • 4 SME • Challenged with creating Business Architecture • Ongoing Discussions/Dialogue about best approach • Next Steps: • Conference Call and Live Meeting (Virtual Meeting)
